Investigative Due Diligence

After the investor has analyzed information sent by the prospective seller of a corporation, he needs to conduct due diligence.  The prudent investor must have authorize due diligence of the type provided by accounting and law firms but he also should dig deeper to identify issues that could make the deal a success or a failure.

Simon International can do both.  Simon International employs a range of experts throughout the Americas who perform financial due diligence, valuation and investigative due diligence, to develop a report for the investor upon which informed decisions can be made.

Among other things, Simon International investigators review documentation such as court and other public records, filings, financial statements, tax returns, contracts, minutes of meetings, and financial performance projections.  Reputational intelligence and other deal-related background information provide additional insights.

Simon International’s investigators are multicultural & multilingual and have a deep understanding of Latin American complexities.  They are fully accustomed to dealing with labor issues, governments and law enforcement officials in Latin America.
